Dear Chris:

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you for your efforts in assisting the Citizen's Advisory Committee of the San Lorenzo Water District. The stewardship of public forestlands is an important responsibility to which you brought focus, direction, understanding, and perhaps most important of all in a public deliberative body, a tolerance of different points of view. Your consultations allowed us to begin making decisions about maintaining the Waterman Gap forest parcel, provided insight into the complexities of habitat conservation, and gave us the courage to embrace an uncertain future. I've been involved with negotiations and decision dynamics for over thirty years and I've never seen anyone better at bringing people together: your performance was phenomenal.

Again, thank you.
